Privacy Policy

Mound Ready is a private baseball pitch-counting and league-rule tool for adult coaches and parents. We do not sell personal information, show public player profiles, or use advertising trackers.

This Privacy Policy explains what Mound Ready collects, why we collect it, and the choices available to you.

Who we are

Mound Ready is operated by Nick Ciccone (the developer). Contact: support@whosinsports.com.

Who may use the Service

Mound Ready accounts are for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create or use an account. Youth players do not create accounts, sign in, or provide information directly to us.

An adult account owner may create a private pitcher record. The adult is responsible for having authority to enter that information and for any notice or consent required by a team, league, or applicable law. If we learn that a child created an account or submitted information directly, we may suspend the account and delete the information.

Information we collect

• Account information: email address, a securely hashed password, an optional display name, account identifier, account settings, and session and security information.
• Roster and schedule information you enter: team name; pitcher name, league age, optional birthdate, and throwing hand; game opponent, date and time, optional location, and notes.
• Pitching and rule information you enter or generate: outings, pitch events, results, inning and timing information, bullpen or quick-session records, custom rule presets, rule snapshots, rotation choices, and notes. The app derives league-rule results such as required rest and the next date a player is eligible under the selected rules.
• Subscription information: if you use Mound Ready Plus, Apple and RevenueCat provide product, transaction, trial, renewal, expiration, billing, refund, and revocation status. We do not receive payment-card or bank-account details.
• Diagnostics: Sentry may receive crash or error details, app and operating system version, device model, the affected screen or operation, timestamps, and the Mound Ready account identifier. We use this only to diagnose and fix the Service.
• Support information: if you contact us, we receive the email address and content you choose to send.

Information the app is not designed to collect

Mound Ready does not request your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, precise location, or Apple Health data. We do not use an advertising or attribution SDK and do not collect information for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising.

How we use information

We use information to:

• create and secure accounts;
• store and synchronize records across your devices;
• count pitches and calculate results under the selected league rules;
• provide, validate, restore, and support Mound Ready Plus;
• send requested account, confirmation, and password-reset messages;
• provide exports and respond to support requests;
• diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and maintain the Service; and
• understand aggregate subscription performance through Apple and RevenueCat.

We do not use roster or pitching records for advertising, data brokerage, third-party marketing, or training a general-purpose machine-learning model.

Service providers and disclosures

We disclose only the information needed to operate the Service to:

• Railway, which hosts the API and database;
• Resend, which delivers account emails;
• Sentry, which processes crash and error diagnostics;
• Apple, which distributes the app and processes App Store subscriptions; and
• RevenueCat, which validates purchase history and manages Plus entitlement status using the Mound Ready account identifier.

We do not sell personal information. We do not disclose roster or pitching records to advertisers, data brokers, scouting services, other coaches, or leagues. We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect a person, investigate abuse, or protect the Service and our rights.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and app records while the account is active. When you delete the account in Menu → Delete account, the active account and its Mound Ready records are deleted and the device is signed out. The app also clears its local account data from that device. Account deletion cannot be undone.

Limited information may remain temporarily in encrypted backups, security or diagnostic logs, or provider systems until it expires under the provider's normal retention schedule. Apple and RevenueCat may retain transaction records under their own legal and operational requirements. Deleting a Mound Ready account does not cancel an App Store subscription.

Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain security, or meet a legal obligation.

Your choices

You can:

• view and correct your information in the app;
• export outing data and the full account archive using the app's export tools;
• change your email or password through the account controls;
• manage or cancel Mound Ready Plus through your Apple Account; and
• permanently delete your Mound Ready account in the app.

You may also email support@whosinsports.com with a privacy question or a request relating to your information. Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you additional rights. We will respond as required after verifying the request.

Security

We use HTTPS, server-side authorization, hashed passwords, expiring session and account-recovery credentials, and access controls designed to keep each account's records private. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

United States availability

The initial paid release is offered in the United States. The Service is operated from the United States and information is processed in the United States by us and our providers.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change this Policy, we will update the effective date and provide notice in the app or by email when appropriate.
