Terms of Service
By creating an account or using Who's In, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy.
The service
Who's In is a team-coordination app for adult sports teams — schedules, availability ("who's in"), team chat, and dues tracking, with reminders so nobody misses a game. Who's In is intended for adults 18 and older; it is not directed to children, and you must be at least 18 to create an account.
Your account
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete account), which removes your name, email address, and phone number from your account.
User content, community rules, and objectionable content
Who's In lets you and your teammates post content — chat messages, photos, images, GIFs, polls, team and profile names, and similar material ("User Content"). You are solely responsible for the User Content you post, and you retain ownership of it. By posting User Content, you grant Who's In a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate the service for you and your team.
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree not to post, share, or transmit content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, hateful, or that promotes violence or discrimination, and not to harass, bully, impersonate, or abuse any other person on the service.
You can report objectionable content or abusive users, and block another user, from within the app: press and hold any chat message to Report or Block, and manage blocked people from More → Blocked people. We review reports and act on objectionable content or abusive users — including removing the content and terminating the responsible account — within 24 hours. You may also report content or a user by emailing support@whosinsports.com.
Third-party services
Who's In relies on a small number of service providers to operate. GIF search in team chat is powered by GIPHY; when you search for or send a GIF, your use of that feature is also subject to GIPHY's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and GIFs are served from GIPHY's network. Text messages are delivered by our messaging carrier (Twilio); photos and images are stored with our media provider (Cloudflare); and, only when you use the optional schedule- or roster-import feature, the schedule or roster you submit is processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to read its contents. Our use of your information with these providers is described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of any third-party service is also subject to that provider's own terms.
Text messaging terms
If you opt in — in the Who's In app or on this website — you agree to receive recurring automated text messages (SMS) from Who's In at the mobile number you provide, such as game reminders, "are you in?" prompts, game-day plans, schedule changes (cancellations, rainouts, delays, time or field changes), and dues reminders from your team. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consenting to receive text messages is a separate, standalone choice — it is not part of, or a condition of, using the app, accepting these Terms, or any purchase.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Who's In lawfully and only to coordinate your own team. You will not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, access it by automated means, or use it to send unlawful, harassing, or unsolicited messages. You will only add another person's mobile number, or send messages to it, when you have a good-faith basis to do so for your team.
Termination
You may stop using Who's In and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you violate these Terms — including the community rules above — or to protect the service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licenses you granted, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
No warranty; limitation of liability
Who's In is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Who's In and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Who's In after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
